- Master of the wheel and the wrench
- A truck driver and mechanic, he brought the sailboat back with us from Camargue to Brittany, with his hands either on the steering wheel or under the hood. On the road, nothing would have been possible without him.
Séb du Sud
- The pioneer
- One of the very first contributors, he dove into the harbor to inspect the sailboat during the purchase, looked after her while she was on the yard, and sanded a significant portion of the hull.
Yann
- The paint boss
- Sporting a Walter White–style look, he wields his paint gun like Lucky Luke and sings his way through painting the deck and the interior of the boat.
Mr Gwen
- The king of helping hands
- Lending a hand with sanding, sharing his tools, handing over the keys to his van, putting us in touch with the right people… You can always count on Gwen and his resourcefulness.
Basile
- The godfather
- Project godfather and professional sailor, the boat is hosted on his home turf throughout the renovation, with shelter, equipment, a trailer, and plenty of sound advice thrown in.
Alain
- The works expert
- A retired master carpenter and cabinetmaker, he is our go-to reference for the boat’s layout and woodwork. A gifted draftsman, he sketches plans and detailed diagrams for the apprentice renovators that we are!
Jules
- The tube champion
- Whether it’s the handlebars of his racing quad or stainless-steel tubing ready for welding, he works wonders with tubes. He’s the one who built the boat’s stern arch.
